I like most of them, though the printed materials piece will cause a marketing \ SID war of costs. It used to be you were limited on size, color, etc of what your media guide and other materials looked like.  It was there to prevent some schools from sending out 500 page, gold leaf, 4 color, absurd productions while other, more cost conscience schools were spending much less.  That will open up some interesting avenues.

Talk of stipend in the article as well.

Not happy about the stipend/allowance mentions.  I know they didn't vote on it yet but it is concerning.  I did not realize that they are talking about all sports.  It seems like the dividing line is whether it is a partial scholarship and whether the student is in need.

Did I read that right?  That a full scholarship no matter what sport would get an allowance?   That is ridiculous.  I can kind of understand it for revenue sports but c'mon... why should everyone get it?

Talk about ensuring we have an uneven playing field.

As long ad they don't approve that transfer rule floating around, all should be well. Too early to tell how a stipend system would work.
“All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake in the day to find that it was vanity; but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act out their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.” - T.E. Lawrence
