Can we get a list going of opponents who have had career best games against Marquette?  It seems like every game this happens.

CTWarrior

Didn't shadow him until the last 6 minutes of regulation.  This is one we should have had with Wright out.

Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

It was on the road, so im going to just chalk it up to a desperate home team, and how tough it is to play on the road. GTown lost to USF (this is USF, in the very bottom of the big east).

To whom it may concern:

Please add in the Game Predictions thread "Who will have his career high game?"

MerrittsMustache

Kilpatrick shot under 50% from the floor (11-23) and just 5-14 on 3s. He scored a bunch of points but didn't exactly go into "the zone." What killed MU was Kilpatrick is a 69% FT shooter who made 9-10 from the line and Rubles, at 62.7% FT shooter hit 10-12.

#5
Here is a list of 5 notable career highs Marquette has given up this year.

Lamar Patterson, Pittsburg 22pts 1/12/13
Dre Kilpatrick, Cincy 36pts 1/19/13
Heralds Karlis, Seton Hall 14pts Seton Hall 1/16/13
Shabazz Napier, Uconn 29 pts (ties career high) 1/1/13
Michael Frazier II, Florida, 17 points 11/29/12

perhaps the most notable ever,
Jean Felix, 31pts, Alabama, 4/16/06 1st round NCAA tournament

3/16/2006 Jean Felix, Alabama, 31 points including 8 threes
3/1/2012 Jaquon Parker, Cincy, 28 points

felix is a terrible marquette basketball memory, but a classic example of kid who has the game of his life vs. us.

patrick connaughton last year sticks in my croft.

MU B2002

Anyone notice that Kilpatrick made zero effort to shake Mayo over the last 5-6min of regulation.  I understand the tight D, but he barely moved.  And I don't really care about career games.  Ee have won many of the games brought up in this thread.  The individual numbers in the boxscore are irrelevant.

Yeah, not exactly sure why "career games" bother people.  Half the games mentioned MU ended up winning.

I witnessed Larry Hughes drop 40 at the Bradley.

He was a freshman. That was his only college season.

How about AJ Price at the BC? Didn't he have around 36?

Guessing you meant craw ;)

Craw is stomach, croft is a parcel of land. Like Sultan, I don't care about career games as long as we win. Had we been able to score one more in regulation or get one more stop in overtime, Kilpatrick could've scored 50 or 60 and I wouldn't care.
