Myself and a couple other Warriors will be in the house and was wondering if anyone else was planning on it? Also what is your pregame plan, I know that the MU party is at Toby Keith's (or some country singers) bar but I've heard that place is far from the stadium. I'm really looking forward to this 7pm start
Bring back FFP!!!

I'll be there with at least 5 other people. No clue what our pre/post game plans are yet.

Wade for President

I'll be making the drive from Indy on Saturday - taking my 4 year old son to his first MU game.  He's borderline obssessed with mascots, so naturally the first thing he says when hearing about our upcoming adventure is, "I guess I'll have to wait to see the Golden Eagle mascot another time, since he doesn't go to road games."

WARNING:  ANGRY OLD MAN RANT

Myself is not going to Cincinnati, but I would like to take this opportunity, as others have in the past for other reasons relating to grammar, to point out that we as a society have to stop using the word "myself" so much.  We have two perfectly good words, "I" and "me", that cover 98% of the situations where people are now using the word myself.   If you wouldn't use the word "himself" or "herself" when referring to another person in the same context, you shouldn't use the word "myself."

I do not mean to pick on you, cbowe3, but I see this constantly now at work and in general and it really bugs me.
Calvin:  I'm a genius.  But I'm a misunderstood genius.
Hobbes:  What's misunderstood about you?
Calvin:  Nobody thinks I'm a genius.

Went to a MU vs Cinncy game in 2001. Sunday night game on ESPN 2. Had sweet lower level seats. Made a bunch of signs, half of which were confescated for not being in line with CUSA standards (BS). Got there early and Crean was surprised to see us as they ran out of the tunnel for warmups. Got on ESPN2 coming out of a timeout. And I believe it was Wardell who hit a 3 to send it to OT, we then made about 12 straight FTs in OT to win. Drove back to MU over night and got a C on a finance midterm. Awesome trip.

Myself and some friends are going and the seats we have are literally in the nosebleed section but we're going to sit there irregardless of the consequences.

Just a heads up, screaming at Donald Little in the layup line, "Why did you kidnap your college roommate and burn him with a coat hanger?", will get you many looks and a visit from security.

The Process

I hear the AutoBros will be there and audible

... Right until Cincy fans do what they do best and cause a mass riot.
Relax. Respect the Process.

I was there a couple of years ago. Cincinnati has a live Bear Cat somewhere in the stadium, although I can't recall exactly where. I'm sure a 4 year old would enjoy seeing that.

Husker4MU

Fifth Third/Shoemaker/Whatever the hell it's called now is the worst arena I've visited.  The seating arrangement is horrid, upper deck seats are so far away, concourses are narrow.  All-State Arena is much better.  Oh well, I'm 3-0 in the building.

Some posters find the use of "myself" annoying.  Please use "meself", instead.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

But that would mean De La Soul's song would sound weird: "Me and I"
