Most Impressive Aspect

IMHO I think that the most impressive thing about the win over Gtown was the fact that we outrebounded them by 9 34-25 and 9-5 in Offensive rebounds. Even though Georgetown starts 4 guys 6-8 and taller and we start 3 guards we were able to win the rebounding battle and a couple of those offensive rebounds led to points which were so valuable.

no doubt...buzz stated it was why they won the game.  that's what's most impressive about buzz, and so fun about college basketball...when kids are competing against kids, coaching can go a long ways.

Perhaps that's why Buzz likes to down play the talent on the team and understate the size of the players.  He likes the underdog role and uses that for MU to win.  It works.  The team is better and the players taller than what buzz says.

One advantage of all of the zone we will see this year is that we can expect more offensive rebounds.  Since we are not a good shooting team we will need them.
