Syracuse, NY - Roger Springfield, a former local sportscaster and media director for the Syracuse University athletic department, is under investigation by Syracuse police and the District Attorney's Office.

Both defense lawyer James McGraw and District Attorney William Fitzpatrick declined comment on the nature of the investigation.
