The Mavericks sent their first-round draft pick, Jared Cunningham, to the NBDL.

Meanwhile, the No. 2 pick -- a certain Marquette alum sporting dreadlocks -- is coming off one of the best games of his brief NBA career: 11 pts, 4 reb, 4 ast, 2 stl, 0 TO in win over Sacramento.

Jae Crowder started fast but then started struggling mightily with his shot. Good to see him hang in there and earn more playing time while Dirk is still out.

That is great news.  You are right, he was on fire, and then suddenly went something like 3 for 26 in a four-game stretch.  Hopefully I'm exagerating, but he keeps doign all the other things well.

This on top of the fact that Mark Cuban said they took James in front of him by one spot because of his military service, and I'm going to now pretend he was Cuban's first pick!
