Who cares if a newspaper writer is looking past us.  He writes for the newspaper!!!!!  He is not playing the game.
The bigger concern I have is Marquette's  ability to pee themselves when they play a school with a good SEC football team.

Florida is pretty friggin good at basketball too. LSU last year was not a particularly good team. I still get pissed off when I think about that game.

They are 9.5 point favorites at home.

Talk radio was pretty complimentary of our team, stressing the athletes we have at every position.  THey seem to think the key to beating us is wearing Gardner out.


They said MU is the best team they have faced and could very easily come into the O Dome and beat them.

I hope to see it happen in person from section J.

I really didn't get the sense that they're looking past us at all. The author of the article constantly refers to the upcoming 3-game stretch as challenging. I can see how the team might look past us with two tough road games on the back end, but I didn't feel slighted at all reading the article.
