Paint Touches tweeted this out, here's the link to his profile:

Probably won't get much time, but I'm guessing the announcement comes now as he probably had to make it through Boot Camp before it became official. Excellent news for practices, nice to have a walk-on with some size and shooting ability. Granted, I don't expect he's a Jake Thomas or Garrett Swanson type that could earn a scholarship elsewhere, but thinking back to the days when we only had 9 guys to practice, I'll take all the competent bodies we can get out there. Best of luck, Dylan!

Is this neverdrankbefore's friend?  I assumed he was made up.

Ellenson Guerrero

Looks like he's an above average rec player. Hopefully he keeps Swanson and Thomas on their toes.

First number 30 since Dameon Mason?

Dawson Rental

Four-year letter winner at Benet Academy.  Hopefully, he leaves some tickets for his HS teammate, Sean O'Mara, to come see him play.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

So 12/15 vs. Savannah State it is!

Apologies to Swanson and Dawson, but now they along with Flood are officially added to the MUScoop scholarship table

You'll note I still haven't carried Otule over to 2013, so it shows we still have one scholarship left there.  I also don't have a notation for walkons that have to sit out (Flood) AND might not be using a scholarship.  Although I presume since 2 scholarships are available this year, only one of Thomas, Swanson and Flood will be paying their own way this year.

Why would Flood have to sit out?  Did he transfer here?  Does anyone know why he is listed as a redshirt sophomore?

Not sure, but it is what GoMarquette.com says.  Maybe he doesn't have to sit out though.  From what I read he was at MU last year and tried out to be a walk-on, but missed the cut.  Apparently made it this year?  I would love some clarification :)

His bio says he was a HS senior in 09-10.  I would guess that means he's in his third year at MU.  Because he didn't play at all his first two years one of them can count as the redshirt year, making him a redshirt sophomore.

Ah, good point.  So none of Thomas, Swanson or Flood had to sit out this year.  Not that I necessarily expect any of them to log a lot of minutes.

brewcity77

I thought Swanson did have to sit out as a transfer.
