EC Matthews update

MU target EC Matthews just committed to Rhode Island. CBS sports reported it.

They play D1 basketball?  Not to rag on a fine young man but is the market that inefficient?  Is it really all that common for a kid to be simultaneously recruited by UW-Milwaukee and say, a middle of the pack Big 10 team?

I mean I get it when a kid doesn't pan out after 2 years at high major and then chooses to transfer somewhere where he'll play.  We've got our own examples over the last two years.  But I would have thought that most Top 500 kids fit in a reasonably narrow band.

As previously mentioned ----- Might as well wait till spring now. Nobody out there that wants to come to MU.
Any one know what is the status of these players ---- Joe Embiid, Stevie Clark, Brian Bridgewater, Torren Jones, Brandon Parrish, or
Lorenzo Dillard. There was a player mentioned in late August named Karviar Shepard from Dallas. Are we in on him? Still am wishing
for J P Tokoto. Otherwise spring usually brings on missed prospects.

That request would have made things difficult for MU with Duane Wilson already on board for 2013.  I'm kinda surprised now that he even looked at us.
