According to Horns To The Hardwood -- A Chicago Bulls blog hornstothehardwood.com Darius Johnson-Odom could be selected in the first round of this years NBA Draft. The site gives many comparisons between him and Toney Douglas.

Check it out!

Haha I would have enjoyed this article a lot more of I didn't read this kids little "bio" on the bottom:

Darin Ford is a 17-year-old sports writer, entrepreneur and student of the game of basketball. Ford is the managing editor of this blog hired by Bloguin on May 10, 2012. Ford runs the site avidly while still having time to net a 3.7 GPA, play basketball for his high school team and, of course, talk to an assortment of girls.

What a player.

Kind of interesting that DJO was on this kid's radar when you think about it.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

Shameless self-promotion.

Hey Darin, we're cool here.  Next time I'd suggest: Hey, I wrote a blog about DJO getting drafted and thought you guys might be interested.

As is, you kinda sound like a Chinese spambotperson, but without the shoes or handbags to sell.  Nonetheless, welcome.

strotty

His bio suggests he would be better at being friends with DJO than he would analyzing his game. Would be shocked if DJO is picked by the Bulls at No. 29.

On second thought, the links to the blog have been removed, because when I clicked on it my antivirus program went crazy about it using JavaScript Obfuscation...

Javascript Obfuscation "obscures" the real meaning and intent of a javascript code. Some sites/programs use it as an obstacle to people who want to copy/borrow their code. Other sites use it as a means to hide the actual intention of the code. It is not by itself evil, but can be used to try to hide an evil intent.

Seek out the blog post at your own risk.

The creator of this thread shows all the qualities of a TROLL

Clam Crowder

Yeah I think the thread maker is just being a Troll. He compared DJO to Toney Douglas, not excatly huge praise

Such are the wares of a sportswriter/entrepreneur.  Girls beware who you talk to.

I think most of us would be happy for DJO if he had a toney douglas type career, I mean at least you have heard of him right

Well, Douglas was a first-round draft pick who has had guaranteed, seven-figure contracts, has been in the NBA for three years and has started some games. I would think DJO would happily take all of the above if you told him he could have it.

I personally doubt DJO is an NBA player, but I do hope I'm wrong, wrong, wrong.

Of course, I don't have the knowledge of your typical teenager.

This just in:  DJO may or may not be drafted the Bulls in the 1st round.

I'm ready to create my own basketball blog.

serbianking33

This is hilarious.

I started Horns to the Hardwood.  I came up with the name, the graphic at the top and the sidebar content.

Then I got sick of the difficulties with Bloguin, and just stopped posting.

This kid comes in and does this?  Wow.

Registered in 2008 and you finally made your first post?  That's some serious lurking! :)

Yeah, I used to write for the other board, and now I don't really comment anywhere.

But 4 years is pretty good, huh?  :)

I think we may need to all apologize for Darin if it turns out he was this far ahead of all the public draft sites in picking DJO as a 1st rounder :-)  We may have a young guru on our hands, and I've never been one to complain about self-promotion!  BTW, if everyone could go to my value add website now that my book is no longer available.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

Terrific idea!  I will set up a website and once Darin has a paid a membership fee to join, he will be able to access my sincere apology.  Although the fee might seen extreme to some, I will thereby be able to certify my site as javascript obfuscation free.
