I know he disappeared in the Ohio State game, but he's NBA-ready. Does a lot of things well.

I could be wrong, but I think he will be lucky to have a Joe Smith like career.
You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

I could be wrong but him staying in the draft makes MU's chances at a possible BE championship, seeing how they are returning their top 8, a little better.  G-town would have been definite Nat'l title contenders if he were to stay.  They will be a completely different team w/o him. I wonder if maxpower is hearing anything about that at work considering he's out in DC right now.

Good riddance. It makes it easier for MU!!!  ;)

I'm glad he's gone.  The BE is going to be tough enough next year as is, and anything to give MU a leg up is good.

Its going to be real interesting with GU, MU, ND, and Louisville this year.

yes, but nothing great.......he'll be an interesting player to watch at the next level.  He's very skilled, just not sure how he'll break through at the next level.  he was smart to go

NavinRJohnson

No reason for him to come back. He could be the third player chosen.

He will be a better NBA player than he was a college player. Just more suited for the pro game.

I agree. The guy has an NBA body and NBA game.

He's a little short for a PF, but he's got all of the skills. He could develop into a nice "point forward" type that could play in a high-low situation (provided that there is another good post player) or you could run the offense through him in the low post.

Also, I don't remember him running a lot of pick and rolls at GU... the pick and roll is the key play in the NBA and he could be very good at it with his ball handling and nice midrange game.

I'm very high on Green... even though he traveled :-)

Jeff Green = The next Tim Thomas!

Tim Thomas was/is so buttery soft. Green is much tougher and more experienced than Thomas ever was.
