Reading the transcript, he was pretty darned defiant in regards to JUCO's.   I have no idea if this will have any impact on his critics, but I like it.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Great interview.  Thrilled to know DJO is graduating.  Buzz himself admitted that he was a non-qualifier out of HS.  Look where hard work has gotten him.  Sure he's got a soft spot for guys like Jae who were 260 pounds coming out of HS and just happy that any school, accredited or not, would allow him to play and give him meal money.  So now Jae's most of the way toward his MU diploma.  And I'm sure Buzz' message is 'Son, finish the job.'  Sounds like a program to be proud of to me.

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"I wish that would've been a question on the SAT. I wouldn't have had to go to junior college." — Marquette coach Buzz Williams, asked to discuss the differences between him and the other three coaches at the West Regional, Izzo, Rick Pitino and Billy Donovan.

Where is the Tarkanian reference in the transcript?
"Since you asked, since you pretend to know why I'm not posting here anymore, let me make this as clear as I can for you Ners.  You are the reason I'm not posting here anymore."   BMA725  http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=28095.msg324636#msg324636

I only transcribed the Marquette-related answers. Would have been way too long. It's toward the end of the audio, which is linked in there.
