Colin Borchert of East Mississippi CC signed with Mississippi State.  He is a 6-foot-8 player with range from 22-feet who I have projected in the top 10% of all players next year (394th most valuable player) next season.  With his 3.18 Value Add Georgetown would have been projected to be within a 10th of a percentage of Marquette for a tie in 11th place if they had landed him - but without him the Hoyas project as the 21st best in the land, 10 spots behind Marquette.

The Big East is going to be up again next year after a little lull this year, so I was following him and a bit nervous about the match-up next year if he had landed with the Hoyas with Otto already looking like the BE POY next year.

Obviously more important that we keep all our key players if possible!
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

bamamarquettefan proves once again that its not offseason for him!

Thanks, dude.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

to think I was actually a baseball fan first in my youth before political campaigns made it impossible in September or October to watch any games!  Afraid it's all basketball all the time for me now, and thanks for replying since sometimes I'm not sure if I'm writing for myself this long after the Final Four ends :-)
