@JonRothstein Hearing Trent Lockett could decide on where he'll play next yr as early as the end of the wknd. Marquette the favorite. Iowa State in play.

Great news. Would love to see this happen. With DJO and Jae leaving, MU will need points from somewhere.

Welcome aboard.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

I don't want to jinx it by jumping the gun, but I'm hoping for some good news by Sunday evening.

Gonna need some guards with Chernobyl pending and such.

I thought it was Hiroshima?

By the way, why is it always Hiroshima and never Nagasaki? Hell, I speak Japanese and lived there many times and even the Japanese always reference Hiroshima and never Nagasaki.

More catchy?

Actually, I think Cherrnobyl is the better as it was a testament for Soviet Engineering.

Hiroshima wax a catastrophic event.  Sake bombs are usually thought of in a positive way.

I guess when you're number two, you have to get a better publicist.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

OK...*THAT* was funny.

How is a transfer eligible to play right away? He wouldn't have to sit out a year?

He's graduating this weekend.

Oh...thanks. Interesting rule.

Yes, if you graduate and still have eligibility, you can transfer to a school that doesn't have a similar graduate program and use your remaining eligibility without sitting out.

Not quite right, but in the case of Lockett he should have no issues being immediately eligible at Marquette.
