LOUISVILLE NCAA TOURNAMENT ARRANGEMENTS

If anyone is thinking of making the trip and doesn't have tickets... the market is probably going to be a bloodbath and very plentiful for our session.  The Cardinals are playing at the same time as the day session... that's why all the Louisville fans are coming on our boards to unload their lowers. 

Tickets will be very difficult for the UK night session as well as Saturday's though. 

Hopefully we get a lot of blue and gold in the Yum.

Uppers in the corners can be obtained on Stubhub for $40 and below for our session on Thursday, well below what I believe is the $60 face value.

That all being said, I have two extras in the MU allotment... every year I go to the tournament, they are always excellent side-court lowers.  Face is $81 per ticket if you are interested...you can't find side-court lowers for that price on stubhub or anywhere, and you will be with all the MU fans.  PM me.

Marquette fans only of course as my other tickets will be right next to you.

Marquette Men's Basketball Open Practice

1:45 p.m. Shuttle departure

Shuttle departs from the lobby of the Brown Hotel for the KFC Yum! Center.

2:15 p.m. to 2:55 p.m. Open practice
KFC Yum! Center, 1 Arena Plaza, Louisville
Shuttles will return to the hotel immediately following the conclusion of practice.

THURSDAY, MARCH 15
NCAA Pregame and Postgame Receptions

Receptions will take place in the Bluegrass Ballroom (second floor) of the Brown Hotel. Enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Parking is available at the Brown Hotel within the structure connected to the hotel at a self-parking rate of $14 per day.

Noon to 2:30 p.m. Pregame reception
The Brown Hotel, 335 W. Broadway, Louisville – Bluegrass Ballroom
Don't miss the team send-off at approximately 12:30 p.m. (Please note that the send-off could occur earlier depending on the team's schedule.)

Beginning at 1:30 p.m., complimentary shuttle service will be available from the Brown Hotel to the KFC Yum! Center. The center is also within walking distance of the hotel (less than one mile, approximately a 15-minute walk).

2:45 p.m. – Tipoff, (3) Marquette vs. (14) BYU/Iona
KFC Yum! Center, 1 Arena Plaza, Louisville

Immediately following the game, complimentary shuttle service will be available from the KFC Yum! Center to the Brown Hotel.

Postgame reception

The postgame reception will immediately follow the game at the hotel.

FRIDAY, MARCH 16 (if Marquette wins on Thursday)
Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory Tour

Join Marquette alumni, parents and friends for a visit to the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory. The group will gather in the Brown Hotel lobby and round-trip shuttles will be provided. Tickets are complimentary for Marquette alumni and guests.

1 p.m. Shuttle departs for museum
Shuttle departs from the hotel lobby to the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory.

1:10 p.m. Arrive at museum
800 W. Main St., Louisville
Visit the museum gift shop and even order a personalized bat!

1:40 p.m. –Movie and guided tour

3 p.m. –Shuttle departs for hotel
Shuttle departs from the Louisville Slugger Museum and Factory; return to the Brown Hotel.


Family Bowling and Game-watching

Join fellow Marquette fans for an evening of fun at the Sports and Social Club. Enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres, bowling, pool and a cash bar throughout the evening. Televisions will be available to watch the NCAA Friday evening games.

5:45 p.m. Shuttle departs
Shuttle departs from the Brown Hotel lobby for the Sports and Social Club.

6 p.m. Family bowling and game-watching
The Sports and Social Club, 427 S. 4th St., Louisville – Eagle Room (216.298.4070)
The Sports and Social Club is within walking distance of the hotel (less than one half mile, approximately a ten-minute walk).

9 p.m. Shuttle departs for hotel
Shuttle departs from the Sports and Social Club; return to the Brown Hotel.


SATURDAY, MARCH 17 (if Marquette wins on Thursday)
NCAA Pregame Reception

The Brown Hotel, 335 W. Broadway, Louisville – Bluegrass Ballroom
(second floor). Enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Parking is available at the hotel within the parking structure connected to the hotel at a self-parking rate of $14 per day.

Reception will begin 2½ hours prior to the Marquette tipoff. Stay tuned for information regarding timing of the team send-off.

Complimentary shuttle service will be available from the Brown Hotel to the KFC Yum! Center. The center is also within walking distance of the hotel (less than one mile, approximately a
15-minute walk).
