Crowder Named BIG EAST Player of the Year
         

Marquette forward Jae Crowder, who helped lead the Golden Eagles to a 25-6 overall record and a second-place finish in the regular season, has been named BIG EAST Player of the Year by a vote of the league's head coaches who were not permitted to vote for their own players.
