Coach Buzz Williams

As all this tournament crazies begins, and before everyone on this board picks every nit and offers 360 degrees of analysis on everything possible, this long time Warrior fan would like to take moment to compliment and thank Coach Williams.

In a word were "winning is not everything, it is the only thing", were all measuring standards are reduced to dollars, the Marquette world should collectively say thank you to Coach Buzz Williams for being such a principled human being.

He has put teaching, values, doing what is right, not taking short-cuts, and understanding that hard work and "good luck" go hand-in-hand, into the fore-front of the Marquette basketball program. It has made the program unique and successful in developing young me.

Even if Marquette goes two and out, it has been an educational experience watching such a human coach, as Coach Williams work, strive, and stay focused on what he believes to be right.

Thank you Coach!

PS - And, no, the Warriors will not go two and out.

Yes, we have a very good thing going.  Thanks Buzz, and congratulations on a great year.

Now, lets keep it going, and pile up an 8 game winning streak for the remainder of the year.

I was a HUGE doubter of Buzz on day one, but he has proven from almost the very beginning that he is everything I want out of a coach at MU in terms of recruiting, motivation, tactics, and personality.  Can't wait to see how far he and his lion chasers can take MU this year!
