Marquette has never had two players named to the first team in the same season since it joined the league in 1989-'90.

Really, Enlund? Really?

Forward Jae Crowder and guard Darius Johnson-Odom of Marquette were both named to the six-player all-Big East Conference first team that was announced Sunday.

Didn't know MU joined the BE in 1985
1989

Poorly worded.  Should have been "a conference" rather than "the league".  Pretty impressive that this is the 1st time MU has done that - in the BE, no less.

Yes.  MU's first year in a conference was 1989-90 in the MCC.  Poorly worded.

That said, let's not take away from the feat.  Accomplished in the BE, no less.  Pretty impressive.
