Not sure it matters, but we'll take every edge we can get. Calhoun's medical leave has been extended through their game against Nova next Monday at a minimum.

The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

I'm certainly glad Calhoun is out (for our sake...I'm not happy he has spinal stenosis) although I do wonder if there is an actual correlation between a head coach being out and a team's performance.  Logically it makes sense, but I'm not sure if it's actually true.

Like BrewCity says, its worked at least two times for us when UConn has been coached by Blaney.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

While Blaney isn't Calhoun, I'd be more concerned with who they are suiting up on Saturday. Will they be missing anyone, etc.

In the 1994-1995 season, Coach K coached only the first 12 games of season before leaving the team for back surgery and to recover from exhaustion. Duke was 9 - 3 when he left.

Pete Gaudet took over as interim head coach and compiled a record of 4–15 with a mark of 2–13 in conference play. Duke finished the season with a record of 13–18 overall and in ninth place in the ACC at 2–14.

At least in this example, Coach K mattered.

Drummond played 30 minutes tonight against Depaul. I know he was a bit of a question mark after a sprained ankle in the previous game.
