How, though, doesn't Mike Kelly let the announcers know how to pronounce the sweaters name correctly?  I could see if it were two guys who had not called a MU game before, but Kelly has done many.

Kelly went to a college not known for their academic achievements.  This would include spelling and pronunciation.
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

DJO stepped up and led like a senior all-BEast guard when we needed him.   He turned the game.

they all had their moments but Jamil was a stud for the whole game

Stats

Net Points
Jamil +4.4
Vander +4.0
DJO +3.5
Jae +2.1

Offensive Value Add
Jamil +7.8%
DJO +6%
Jae +4.3%
Vander +2.4%

Two things surprise me a bit.
#1 - Vander's net points contributions in comparison to DJO and Jae.  It's because he was actually pretty efficient in more limited minutes than everyone else.  After a long stretch of net-negative contributions (every game from LSU through Louisville), Vander has been net-positive in every game since then except the ND game.  However, everyone was net-negative in the ND game.
#2 - The difference in offensive value add and Net Points.  I need to ask Pudner how to run the Defensive Value Add again.

But yeah... Jamil is my vote.

Not to go all "everyone gets a trophy" on you but just give it to the entire starting 5.

- DJO 23pts, 0 TOs, momentum-shifting run
- Jamil 18 pts, 10 reb, 2 steals, 2 blks
- Jae 14 pts, 11 reb, 3 steals
- Blue 16 pts in 23 min
- Cadougan 10 pts, 8 assists

All of those lines are SOTG worthy.

It's wasn't Kelley, it was the other guy. He knows our team well. I'm sure Kelley heard him the first few times and was like WTF? did I hear him right, then after hearing "Cardigan" again and again, he knew he had to say something (to the producer or Blackburn). Obviously, he can't correct him on air. He must have said something to him during an early break because he fixed it mid-way through the first half.  I thought it was odd Kelley was calling him "partner," the whole time, but realized somewhere in the second half he was actually calling him by his name, "Carter."

Jae must have sat out the wrong minute of the game.

The Sweater had some tough moments early on, but had a stellar 2nd half.  8 assists, very impressive.  He was 4-6 from the field and one of those misses was a 3 that I don't know how it did not go down and the other was his dunk (how unfair is that?)  Some pretty impressive stat lines from all the MU players.

How, though, doesn't Mike Kelly let the announcers know how to pronounce the sweaters name correctly?  I could see if it were two guys who had not called a MU game before, but Kelly has done many.

Can this stay?  I think it has the awesome grassroots potential of JFB.
