Well, the time to decide which team will win the Super Bowl is now... GO!

Also be curious of another question .. who do you want to win or lose?

NE has been in the Superbowl many times (recently) .. they don't need a win.   Then I look at New York, hey, that's the same city full of Yankee fans, who I don't want to win.

I'd think this would be the Ambivalent Bowl for 80% of the USA.

Always wondered this.....we all pretty much know how Chicago baseball is "basically" divided for fans, how is New York divided or undivided for both baseball and football?  Is there specific geography/demographic/who knows? that determines who you root for in baseball and football?  Do Mets fans and Yankee fans despise each other?  Do Giants and Jets fans despise each other?  Just curious.

My cousins and all of their buddies in Long Island are all Jets fans and dislike the Giants.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Mets fans tend to be Jets fans (probably because the Jets and Mets came about at the same time and shared Shea Stadium for a long time) and Yankees fans tend to be Giants fans.  The team you root for has more to do with who your Dad rooted for and when you became a fan than anything else.

Yankees fans don't hate anyone except the Red Sox (and even that is only recently-why hate a team you beat every time when it counts?) so much as they look down on everyone else.  Mets fans dislike Yankees more than the other way around.  Same for football as the Jets are second fiddle by a good margin in NY to Giants.  Giants save their hatred for their division rivals.  Jets hate Pats and Fins much more than Giants.  I imagine most Jets fans were rooting for Giants yesterday.  I am a Jets fan and hate them both and never really figured out who I was rooting for yesterday, which is very weird for me.

Thanks CT....your dilemma did/does sound kinda weird for yesterday's game.
