I am not a huge fan of the offense going through Gardner.   He receives the ball at the top of the key and looks to pass.  Since he is no real threat to shoot an open three or drive the basket, his defender lays off under the basket and prevents any high percentage shots.  Also, we have one our largest players in a questionable rebounding position offensively.

I like Davante but I think Buzz needs to put him in a position to be more of an asset to the team.

He's only there temporarily - to swing the ball.  He can't camp out on the block anyway.  It allows him the opportunity to reset down low.

Gardner, frankly, is the only consistent player in the top seven man rotation. Tied for second are Blue and Mayo. What does that say for Messrs. Jonhson-Odem and Crowder?

You remember the 1st half of last season....DJO was kind of lame then also?

While I agree DJO and Crowder do vanish at some parts of a game, Blue is consistently a non-factor unless teams forget he's out of control a majority of the time and decide to double down on him, making for an easy assist.  Mayo's game has hardly resembled consistency in the past few weeks.

I think one thing we're missing is more pick and roll action for DJO.  He has to create his own shot way too much.  A solid pick and roll/pick and pop game from DJO and Crowder could improve some of their vanishing act.
