If you count Northwestern's loss on Dec 31, the B10(12) is 1 – 9 on January 1 over the last two years.  0-5 last year and 1-4 this year.

Only win was Mich State triple OT win over Georgia on a block FG.

But Sparty got it done.   Coming from 16 down at halftime?    Awesome.

The Big Ten was undefeated on January 1 this year!

MU won as many bowl games as the B10 on January 1!

Somewhat misleading. Officially Ohio State did beat Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl last year until July of 2011 when the win was vacated.
