This is also why I hate banking scholarships.  8 players tomorrow, could be 10 if we didn't self-impose a two scholarship penalty for no reason this year (or one if you include JT getting one).

Granted our freshmen are having a big impact this year, but I would rather go 8 than add a freshmen who we didn't feel was a worth a scholarship. If we had an extra average freshmen, would he even play if we had 8 players?

Exactly.  And it ties you up in future years unless you want to deal with messy transfers.

This isn't a bad time for this to occur.  Jamil will be back next week at the latest.  Juan, as a best case scenario, will be back for the early BE season.

Good lord, even with otule, Wilson and Anderson healthy, how would the 7th rated team (by Kenpom) even think of competing with the 120th ranked team.
