For all alumni in the northern CA area,

We're planning to have a watch party at Britannia Arms in downtown San Jose.

Nothing huge, but I'm planning to get together with as many alums as possible, have some drinks, and watch Marquette beat the crap out of Madison.

Contact me on FB with any questions.

I've also confirmed that the Brit has the Big 10 network and they said they can show it to us on at least one of their many big screens.

Is there a good place to watch the game in San Francisco?  Dwntwn all weekend.

Usually go to Double D's, but always better to watch with fellow alumni.

There are 2 places in San Francisco that MU folks gather to watch the games.

1. Kezar's Pub on Stanyan St., literally across the street from Kezar Pavilion and Stadium. It's an awesome sports bar and if we know we'll have at least 8-10 people, we call ahead they'll usually block off a few tables in the back. Definitely be a fair number of MU fans there on Saturday!!

2. Green's Sports Bar at Green and Polk Streets on the edge of Russian Hill, if you go there, look up immediately when you talk through the door you'll see an MU Flag on the ceiling!

Luckily, Sacred Heart and SI's sectional title game was moved from Kezar to AT&T. They're projecting 10,000 at the ballpark at $10 admission.
BTW, the oldest Catholic football rivalry in the nation and the oldest West of the Rockies (2nd oldest West of the Mississippi).
