Actually, last year it may have banked in.  

I wasn't comfortable until I saw a celebration.  I don't think the backboard had the lights on it to show when the horn blew.   Nerve racking, but 5-0.

Funny you say this.. I told my wife that if this was any season in the past 15 that last three would have gone in.. So glad to not be chanting Kyle F'in O'Quinn!

That was the only thing that keeps my season long confidence up.

This appears to be our best team in a while, and the fact that for once that shot didnt go down.....maybe it is our year?

I turned to my wife when Norfolk State tied it and said the exact same thing.

While I'm a more than a little disappointed about the way MU pissed away a big lead against an obviously inferior team, if you look around and see all the huge upsets already this season, I'll take the win ... period. That would have been a potentially devastating loss if we end up being on the bubble.
