I wonder if they changed that before or after the meeting when they reiterated their commitment to the Big East.

They'll have to redo it once the conference officially changes its name to Texas and the nine other ones.

Yeah they are building a new facility.

New facility or not ...I can not understand or figure out for the life of me why they would do that.  The logo can be changed out over the summer when they resurface the floors ( which is done annually).  What does that tell the seniors or anyone in athletics where the focus is always today not 1-2-or 3 years down the road when they actually switched. 
Only thing I can guess is they wanted to save $500 so in the furutre they would not have to change the logo.  really stupid.

What is even more stupid is what WVU has done to their "student"/athletes, fans and alumni by joining a confernce 1000 miles away.  So much for ever having representation at any road games or conference tournamnets anymore.  Morgantown is a difficult place to fly from and the toll on the non-revenue student athletes and even basketball is going to be brutal. 

So blinded by the dollar that they really thru their students, fans, and alums under the bus.
