Property is still vacant as far as I know. The Turner Hall Ballroom is open but that is a music venue which upstairs.

The Loaded Slate, on Old World 3rd Street close to the BC , has $3 cocktails, $3 taps and $3 apps from 4-8pm on Fridays.  Their food is pretty good, too :)

That's the former Red Accordion, Cafe Veccio, etc. right?
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Been closed since fall of 10, but I feel like it's been longer than that.

I think I was gonna head to Red Rock before the game. I've heard great things about their food

Good call...thanks for the info.  MJS just did write-up on local happy-hours, and I don't spend as much time in Milwaukee as a I used to, but I wasn't too impressed with their choices...  http://www.jsonline.com/entertainment/dining/happiness-begins-with-these-milwaukeearea-happy-yours-132718438.html

Red Rock does have very good food.  Their pulled pork is out of this world, they have pretty good wings and make a decent burger.  The hush-puppies are awesome, and their seasoned fries are made 10x better if you get them with their Chipotle Ranch for dipping.

They have a similar menu to Durango that used to be on 3rd street.  It's the same guy running the kitchen and he brought his smoker and his menu with him :)
