Season Ticket Delivery
« on: November 07, 2011, 06:11:09 AM »
Crap, I just realized I never got my season tickets in the mail. I'm going to call the ticket office today, but it sure as hell seems like they should be here by now. Been so busy, I forgot they should have shipped out.

Have any other STH's not yet received their season tickets?

If you get a call from the Ticket Office telling you that your tickets get screwed up in the mail and they will deliver to your house, make sure your home.  That's all I'll say.

FWIW - mine came a day after everyone else, but I live south of the cheddar curtain. In any event, they came via regular mail, so no mail receipts to sign, etc. that would get them sent back if no one was home to accept.

But I do get what ringout is saying...
Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Worst case for the MSM game is you can print them out online and those will supersede your regular tickets until MU AD can figure out the issue. These went out two+ weeks ago.

I got mine late last week, I had moved since making the purchase so it took a while to get the mail forwarded to my new address.

Just talked to the ticket office, my tickets were returned today. They had an old address in the system. My main issue is that this is the third time I've had to correct this same address change. They're mailing them back out today and I should have them before Friday.

Brew - I think I may be in exactly the same situation.  No tickets for me yet.  I left a message with the ticket office over the weekend and am still waiting to hear back.  I changed addresses since last year but made sure that change was reflected my account (verified this weekend online) so guessing similar to your situation bit me.  I'll likely just resort to printing out the first game or two.

I feel your pain. That happen to me three years ago. Other than Brian (ticket manager), the student workers at the ticket office are awful.

Same issue for me and several other other people I know.  I had changed my address back in late September.  Strange they waited this long to try and send them again.

They told me that they just got them back in the mail today, though that was at 10:00 in the morning. Maybe they were returned to MU over the weekend? Still seems odd...if it's evident I'm not at that address, does it take that long to get mail back, especially when it never would have left Milwaukee (Marquette to the East Side).

I'm just irked that I've changed this address twice already. This is now the third time I've changed it. And I know that last year I changed it via a personal email with Brian, the ticket manager. I went through the same thing last year and figured it was fixed when I got the tickets in the mail. In addition, they seem to have no problem getting my address right when it comes to sending out information for the Blue & Gold fund and other financial requests.

I love MU, I'm happy to donate every year, but seriously, get this crap straightened out! I'm glad I wasn't one of the people they chose to deliver tickets at home to...I'd still be waiting by the door.

yeah, but it would be priceless to see the team show up with your tickets at the wrong address...

I wasn't referring to receipts to sign.  Some 1st year season ticket holders are getting their tickets delivered by the team.
