DJO, Jamil Wilson, Juan Anderson, and Vander Blue have been announced as the dunk contest participants for Friday night's festivities. I'm going to guess that the majority of the people here will predict DJO as the winner. But I will still pose the question: Who ya got?

To make things interesting if everyone says DJO: Who will be the next best?

Just posted a poll, but gonna go with Jamil Wilson.  Although all are capable of winning, and will be entertaining.  Very intrigued by what Juan Anderson could bring to the table.

Thanks man. It should be quite the spectacle.

For anyone that comes across this thread and wants to participate in the poll, it can easily be found by following this link: http://www.muscoop.com/index.php?topic=27939.0

I am thinking Juan will have some nice dunks. First time in front of the fan base, I am thinking he will throw it down.

Juan never looked super explosive in his highlight videos and Vander is athletic but isn't a high flyer.

2 horse race with DJO and Jamil. Jamil will have to put on a Dwight Howard type of show to remove the doubt that his height is helping him too much.

Victory DJO.

True, but while Juan may not have the explosive burst of a DJO, he may well be the most creative of them all. I'll be curious to see what he comes up with, and wouldn't be surprised to see him win as long as he can finish. In these, ingenuity often helps.

I know that many of you on this board have regularly attended Marquette Madness, but can anyone recall a memorable dunk contest at any one of these events?  Some years we were lucky to see a dunk, let alone a real contest.

Mo Acker oop to Joe Fulce from the concourse of the Al. That was a spectacular dunk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRKZKepNaTE

^^^ Yup. Amazing. Luckily they were able to catch it on video. Great pass by Mo. The timing was equally impeccable by the two. Sadly, one of the few highlights from Joe during his injury-plagued MU career.

Maybe they could throw in an alumni vs. current player component.

With Fulce, Wade and Matthews expected to be in the house that could be quite entertaining.

First Round
Fulce vs. Juan
Matthews vs. Wilson
Wade vs. DJO

Wade just tweeted he is in Tampa for the day working with Gatorade...

And Cordell Henry Tweeted that Wade is definitely coming.

"Bout to meet up with fellow Marquette alum @DwyaneWade and head down to midnight madness in Milwaukee. #294North memory road!"
