Mizzou fans are absolutely exploding at their administration right now, and its being reported across KC channels that those calls, emails, etc are being heard and that the SEC courtship is not done. The dueling press conferences from Mizzou and OU last night are showing why the Big 12 is a dysfunctional mess and why MU wants out. OU's Boren basically lied about all 9 members committing and agreeing to give their TV rights away for the next 6 years.

I don't think the SEC invitation is still out there for Mizzou.

You think they want to stick at 13?

I'm not sure they want Missouri.  I think they were considering them when the B12 was going to break apart, but I think they are more interested in Florida State or Virginia Tech.

But honestly, I think the biggest piece of evidence that there isn't an invitation is that Mizzou would be monumentally stupid not to accept it.  Why would you turn down the SEC to stay in the B12??  Unless they are hoping for the B10 invitation that won't be coming any time soon.

And I get the impression the SEC doesn't really want TA&M to boot.

Missouri to The Big East?

Yeah...I don't think the timing is right but they will still take them.

SEC has always wanted to get into Texas. Their dream was to grab OU, but they see the value in Mizzou. Ideally they would want North Carolina and Va Tech, but thats looking less and less likely with the ACC solidifying itself.

The only reason I think they want Mizzou is that in Auburn the belief is we are moving to the SEC East because Mizzou will eventually join (so we will be adding 2 western teams and need to shift).

However, I also have it from a very good source that at least one VERY high up at the SEC thought Flo State and Va Tech were coming two weeks ago, so this is obviously changing non-stop.
The www.valueaddsports.com analysis of basketball, football and baseball players are intended to neither be too hot or too cold - hundreds immerse themselves in studies of stats not of interest to broader fan bases (too hot), while others still insist on pure observation (too cold).

If this is the case i wonder if the ACC was simply trying to replace Va Tech and FSU with the additions of Pitt and Syr.  Now with them wanting to stay I wonder if they regret taking two more.

Wouldn't that be wonderful.  The ACC loses VT and FSU, there is not much left for football programs.  Miami is in a downward spiral.  That would make the  Pitt and Cuse decisions appear questionable.
