I responded to this thread. Unbelievable how little these guys think of Crean. For a passionate fan base, they know little to nothing about college basketball as a whole. This is how it starts...



Tom Crean to UK?

I am a friend of a bball manager at Marquette. He said they have called a team meeting for Thursday to talk to the players. Wild speculation is that Crean is the new coach at UK. UK wants to announce it before the Final Four. Take it for what it is worth.

I love how they all throw Crean to the curb because "he doesn't win any games in the NCAA tournament"... 4 years ago we beat Kentucky and at the time "clearly" the best team in the nation, Kentucky in the past years haven't made all that much noise, and their recruiting classes for the most historical basketball school in the nation isn't very impressive.... I think if they got Crean they would be lucky, I don't see Billy Donovan leaving Florida, besides money theres no reason to, and I am sure Florida can match what Kentucky puts out there, and right now Florida is the IT in the SEC, not Kentucky
