Multiple Big East sources said they have been told by WVU officials that WVU rejected by ACC & SEC

As precarious as MU's situation is right now, I'm not sure I would trade spots with the WVU, Louisville, and Cincy's of the world right now. They have a lot on the line, their schools are seemingly on a foundation of athletics, and they don't really fit anywhere. Perhaps we scoop them up for a bball only conference and they go independent for football.

I think they either end up in Big 12 as part of football only conference or Big 12 remanents end up in Big East with some non-football schools. The first one is bad for MU. The second one is also bad for MU, because we will still have the same football/non-football schools issue. Pick your poison.
