Hi Everyone,

In the years that I have been registered on this site, I have seen the generosity of Marquette Alum time and time again. From helping out with donations for Relay for Life, or to Al's Run, the generosity never ceases to amaze. So I thought that I too would ask for some support from my fellow alum.

On October 15th, I will be taking part in the Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation's (JDRF) Ride for the Cure. It is a 105 mile bike ride through Death Valley, CA where even in October the average high temperature is around 93 degrees! It will certainly be both a physical and mental challenge, one which I have already begun preparing for and a challenge that I am very much looking forward to.

This will be my first time participating in such an event, but it is certainly an important cause as over 285 millions people are affected world-wide. I will be participating with my Uncle and his sister, who happens to have Diabetes.

If you are able I would greatly appreciate the generosity. Donating is simple. Just visit the following link:

Thanks you in advance for your support.
