Who will end up with the most MUScoop SoG at the end of the season?

DJO
Jae Crowder
Jamil Wilson
Vander Blue
Junior Cadougan
Chris Otule
Davante Gardner
Jamail Jones

Skatastrophy

The question is simple:  By MUScoop SoG rules, who will end up with the highest SoG tally at the end of the season?  I limited the options to non-freshman because the best thing about Freshmen is that they become Sophomores.

MerrittsMustache

I was tempted to go with Jamil or Jae, but went with the safe bet of DJO.

lab_warrior

I went with Jae, because of his all-around game, but DJO has the higher ceiling for "holy SH--!!" type games where he blows up and scores at will.

NersEllenson

I voted Davante Gardner - just to stoke the flames with Brew!

I'd have to vote in order of finish:

1) DJO
2)Crowder
3) Tie between Cadougan and Gardner
"I'm not sure Cadougan would fix the problems on this team. I'm not even convinced he would be better for this team than DeWil is."

No doubt, it'll be DJO. If not for so many guys opting not to enter the draft, I'd be touting DJO for first-team All-American right now. As is, I think he'll still be second-team All-American. I expect him to start next season in mid-season form and not look back. For the past couple years, I've been thinking 2012-13 would be our big chance to make a deep NCAA run. But I'm buying into the DJO hypewagon this year, I think he could lead us to a Final Four.

bilsu

DJO seemed to be the easy pick. So I went with Jae Crowder.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Where's the option for "Three-Way Tie"???

Man, that's like giving kids these days a "Certificate of Attendance" and telling them they did a good job because they tried.  I say we should pick a winner, especially in summertime fantasy-land!

By these rules, DJO.

According to the stats, Predator

Man, DJO really ran away with it with Crowder coming in a distant second!

I am saying Davante. Only good things are happening with this man. By the time the Big East starts Davante will be a big threat inside. With his size, lost weight, and quickness gained he will be a force to be reckoned with.

I presume the votes for Blue/Otule/Jones are votes of optimism?

We had a two-way tie last year (nearly three-way), and JFB and DJO are hardly certificate recipients.

Blue was a young freshman.  I predict that he will rapidly progressed up he D1 learning curve and will be a pleasant surprise next year.

Jamil Wilson. I believe that he will end up being best MU player since DWade.

Jacks DC

Crowder is the player most critical to MU's success, IMO.  I think he will have a huge impact having a year of BE experience under his belt.  DJO is obviously a major contributor and will probably get the highest SoG tally.

Stretchdeltsig

It's a good question, because Marquette has a very talented, athletic roster.  I chose Jae as the no. 1 stud, but think that DJ, Davante and Jamil Wilson will all be outstanding.  Can't wait to watch this team play!
