She definitely went higher than in any of the plethoa of mock WNBA drafts that I saw out there.

WNBA should be retitled, "NBAT9" as in "National Basketball Association Title 9."

good one?

While it's not the Prem and likely never will be, the MLS isn't going anywhere. Recent additions like Seattle, Philly, and Portland have very well supported teams and the recent influx of foreign veteran talent has raised the standard of play greatly. I would probably put the MLS on par with League One, and the top teams could probably compete in the Championship. It's become a pretty good product, and there's enough of a niche market that it won't go away any time.

Well one thing you have to remember is that while the premier league is in it's 19th season and the MLS is in it's 16th season, but England has had organized soccer since 1888 so we are a little late to join the game.  While the quality of play may not have been on EPL level it still helps a great deal to have organized soccer for so long.  I could see many years down the road MLS making it to the big times in terms of league status.  They have grown tremendously and still will for a long time.

The Sparks/Lynx game was a headline on ESPN this morning so I checked the boxscore for Angel but she didn't make it.  Does any one know if she even made the team or not?

She doesn't appear to be on the roster on their website.

Thanks.  That's good to know.  The Connecticut Sun contacted me last week in regards to setting up a Marquette outing when the Lynx visit Connecticut so we could cheer for Angel.  No point of doing it now.
