Still to this day, I am amazed Butch never signed with MU...knowing that MU lack big men, I think he would have been the go to big guy starting his freshman year, and would have definately lived up to his McDonald's All American status. He has been a huge dissapointment at UW and also had to redshirt, something that would have never happened at MU!

Brian did need to redshirt as he was really weak coming into college.  As for being a Mcdonald's AA, even Andy Katz responded to a BB question yesterday saying that selection process is flawed and that BB was not really of that caliber.  Brian is a decent player but struggles against quicker players.  His strength is his outside shot.  He truly is a 4 as he does play at UW (with JC and GS at the 5 ).  Hope he has a nice senior season ( except obviously against MU ).
