UConn won the title in 2004, so Big East had back-to-back championships in '03 and '04.

Under the NEW Big East, it's never happened

2008 we got only one to the Elite 8 and no Final Four participants

2006 we got two to the Elite 8 and no Final Four participants


However, under the Old Big East, looks like 2001 was the last time no Elite 8 participants.  That year 5 Big East teams received invites, including Boston College who is no longer a member.  Only Georgetown made the Sweet 16 before losing to Maryland.
