In 2003, my brother (who happens to be a Catholic priest) was coincidentally in New Orleans the week of the Final Four on business (which was nice because he was able to get me a bunch of stuff).

Guess where he's going to be next week?

Exactly.  Houston.  Hopefully it's a good omen.  Granted, I'd like a better result than when he preceded them to New Orleans, but hopefully he'll "bring" Marquette to Houston just like he "brought" them to NO.

I spoke to a farmer in western Florida this morning and he reported seeing a bald eagle carrying a tobacco leaf in his mouth flying to the north east.  The gods favor a Marquette victory in battle.

Both coaches are called Williams! Both are from the south, but what is really freaky is that they both have secretaries with the last name Lincoln! Or is it Kennedy? ;)
