And to your point and everyone else (with the exception fo Harrison), no one has ever said guards only...EVER.

We've said, and CONSISTENTLY SAID, that guards are the key first and foremost (just as Howland and so many other coaches have concurred) because they drive the train, they get the ball to the bigs, they dictate tempo, etc.  Plus they are easier to find.

To be an elite team, you need both....of course.  But if you can't get great bigs (which few programs can), you can still compete at the highest of levels with great guards.

That is why the term "guards game" exists in the first place.  But of course we would want quality bigs, who on earth wouldn't.
