Vitale and His Love Fest With Duke

Just listened to Dookie V. on ESPN. There is no bigger shill for Duke in the Country. He commented that if Duke wins ACC tourney they should get a 1 seed over Pitt. The guy must get some stipend from Duke. It really gets tiring to listen to his love affair with them.

I think Dickie V is funny to listen to and I really have no problem with Duke because from what I know Coach K is a great guy and runs a great program.

Stronghold, I am interested in knowing what appeals to you about Vitale.  He has always been an irritating, obnoxious bore to me- going back to his college coaching days at Detroit.  The fact that he makes a living as a commentatot blows my mind.  I MUST turn off the sound when he is on.
I am serious, as he must have an audience, what about him do you like?
