I'm starting to wonder if Buzz's emphasis on getting in the lane and bottom-line getting to the line screwing this team up.  Nobody wants to take a three even if its open for a second.  DJO, Buycks and to some extent Jimmy constantly pump fake.  They look like they are trying to make their guy jump so they can either lean in and get the shot with a foul or drive by him.  The problem is we give up that instant that the "look" is open.  The worst case of this was towards the end of last nights game when we really needed the 3s and no one would take them even if they were open.  They say you play the way you practice.  I'm starting to wonder if these guys are so conditioned to create the foul situation that they have lost the confidence to simply take an open shot

Last night was ridiculous. How do you logic out bleeding the clock down to the final 10 seconds in the late stages of a game when you're trailing by more than one possession? I'm near hoarse today from yelling "Shoot, shoot, shooooooooooooot!!!"

Nukem2

Agreed.  It felt like no one wanted to shoot.

JFB, great game, but how can you pass up the wide open 3 when we're down 5 with the ball under 2 minutes?  Same to you DJO.

Agreed. DJO should be a no-brainer, but JFB, despite everyone saying he's not a 3-point shooter, is a pretty good one. He isn't a volume shooter from range, but he's a career 39.5% from 3-point range. If he's open, especially at that point of the game, he's got to take the shot. Buycks should also be putting those shots up, not only when there's 3 left on the shot clock, but when the shot is there.

Stretchdeltsig

Agree... we needed to make 3's.  Why didn't the team shoot threes?

MU Player: Great I have an open jump shot. Oh no, haven't had a paint touch this possession, damn, and I'm a switchable, which means if i do wrong, I'll be switched out on the next dead ball. Or worse yet, sit out the whole first half of the next game. What do I do?

Turnover!
