for him to take over and show it. This is when the great players turn it up a notch. With McNeal out, DJ becomes critical. If he gets back on track, we are going to be very tough. If not, it's all she wrote.

DJ needs his shot overhauled----if I were a GM I'd drat him on the basis of his setting up others (outstanding at that)------with the knowlege that I could change his shot. For the umpteenth time----he carries the ball too far behind his forhead prior to release which results in a fling and not a push-----for the proper form watch Scottie Reynolds and compare!

Murf, follow this rule, if you feel the need to type "for the umpteenth time" you should stop typing.

if you're looking to see a top tier lottery point guard in the tourney.

DJ has played some of his best games against top competition and in big tourney games.  He played great against Duke and TT early this season and has stepped up at times when the team needed him.  I think Coach Crean will get the team to subscribe to some bunker style us against the world mentality and get DJ really motivated to play these games.  I saw almost all our games this season and I think DJ's shot is coming around, while we didn't play that well as a team against Pitt in the Big East Tourney DJ's shooting was looking better and he played pretty well individually.  I believe DJ will dominate in the NCAA's and earn himself some money as a higher draft pick.

I think DJ's immediate future lies in the next few days. If he continues to struggle with his shot, we lose. Then NBA scouts lose more interest, and he comes back. He shoots well, we win but we lose him to the NBA. He has an amazing first step and freakish leaping ability, but his lack of size, poor shot, and tendency to cramp up work against him.
