I hope Buzz doesn't give this much thought. Cinn, unlike Prov, can win on the road. If our margin is a possession or two, leave Frozena on bench. Buzz took him to NYC at the start of season for BE media day. That was a nice gesture that did not impact a game.

Maybe announce those guys separately just before the starters to honor them and take care of business with the game-it's a big one.

Isn't that what they normally do?  It sounds familiar to me, but I could be wrong.  They have their own ceremony after the game I know, but I thought they get announced at the beginning.  The player introductions don't mean crap, it's a tactic to get the crowd into it.

I seem to recall Dominique James being introduced a couple years ago before that f'n Syracuse game.
I'm like a turtle, sometimes I get run over by a semi.

MuMark

He will start the same lineup he did today.

Seniors are honored after the game not during it...................

These new age touchy-feely ideas make me sick personally.    Even Rudy didn't get in till Notre Dame stomped on Georgia Tech.

Come on man. If this thread makes you sick then get a grip. I didn't realize how ridiculous it would be to honor a kid that has busted his tail for the past 4 years. Rob is a great kid, and you should be ashamed to mention his name in the same utterance as that Dbag Rudy.
Warrior in the class of 2011.

No, and he shouldn't.    However, starting Fulce over EWill is doable.

Didn't Hanley start a game?

He got a lot of PT, but it wasn't token time. He was one of our two options at PG, along with Marcus Jackson.

Man that sounds weird.

Daniel

Buzz said on the Homer show after the Providence game that he will start the same lineup "until we lose" that he started the last two games.

DoggyDaddy

Frozena should get in the game at garbage time of hopefully, a blowout and be given the ball to hold for the last few seconds.

Honestly, I think it would be more embarrassing than anything to get a token start and get pulled after 30 seconds. Maybe announce those guys separately just before the starters to honor them and take care of business with the game-it's a big one. Haven't we lost the last 2 or 3 senior days?

It is just as embarassing being a senior on the sideline at teh start of senior night... unless there are six seniors.

Rob gave a lot of his time over the last 4 years to this program.  MU will recognize that post-game, but give the man a start.

DJO's Pump Fake

He won't start and he shouldn't start.....stupid argument.....this is a Big East home finale with Tournament seeding and post season implications.....i can't believe some of you are actually endorsing this.

He will be honored after the game with a nice jersey and will no doubt be part of the montage video....that is MORE than enough for a walk on who wouldn't normally smell the court in the Big East.

How about Buzz is not even thinking about it. just a stupid idea.

MuMark

Wisconsin had its senior day last night.

Bo started his normal lineup.

Forzena will get in if the game is in hand in the final minute...just like always.

When most games come down to 1 or 2 possessions you can't afford to start a walkon and play basically 5 on 4 until the first dead ball.

One basket could be the difference between the NCAA and the NIT.

Is this from personal experience?  I don't think you should be embarrassed that you aren't one of the top 5 options on a high mid major.  Even if some of those are a year younger than you.

I think it would be embarrassing to spend 4 years giving the team your all and then to suddenly put yourself above the team for a token honor.

Nukem2

Start the current lineup for waht is a huge game.  No time to be fussing around with niceties.  The guys will be honored after the game.  Though, I suspect Fulce and Buycks may well start.
