Once we surrendered the lead, I said to my friends here we go again. I tell you, watching this team play is an emotional roller coaster. Really big win for the team and hopefully a confidence builder. Lets hope the fans turn out for the last two home games.

I'll be honest.  I cracked another beer and put on the florida / georgia game for a while.

Did we really need a thread to tell us you thought we were going to lose?  We know you thought we were going to lose...you always think we're going to lose.

FWIW, I thought they were going to lose, too.  There was no fight in them midway through the 2nd.  They looked flat, disorganized, and lost on the court.  To quote a headline -- what just happened?

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Chill yourself.  Look at your past 100 posts, have you said one positive thing????

Yes, many games have been very nerve racking. I might be alone in thinking this, but i've enjoyed how tense nearly every game has been. For me at least, it makes for great entertainment as a sports fan. Close games keep you on the edge of your seat all game. Makes you run the gambit of high and low emotions. As stressful as close games are, that stress which close games bring about is the juice that keeps most fans so heavily into sports.

Obviously though, Marquette winning a few more of these close games would have made the emotional roller coaster more fun to ride.

I'm with you.  But clearly some among us don't have the nerves to keep supporting their team through thick and thin.

How about this...

Post one positive thing about the team and maybe I'll "chill".  In fact, I'll probably drop dead of a heart attack.

You are one of the most consistently negative posters on this board, whining and complaining about nearly every aspect of every game.  So what do you do after the biggest win of the year?  Start a thread the topic of which is so abundantly obvious that it doesn't need to exist.

Way to contribute...as usual.
