Johnnies' Steve Lavin has a solid bench coach - Gene Keady.  Lavin knows in-game bench coaching is  his weakness.  Recruiting is his strength (Johnnies rated No. 2 in recruits for next year by one espn thing I saw).   Al had Hank.  Why can't MU get a guy like that for a bench coach?

The first year Buzz had Dale Layer as an assistant coach. 

Gene Keady is not an assistant coach but a "special assistant"  Buzz uses Louis Orr in that role.
