I hate to do this, but I would like to nominate a SOTG for the St. John's game. I know...there's no Stud when we lose. But considering the bet and all, I'd like to nominate...

...Dwight Hardy. He was fantastic throughout the game, 28 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals, 3 assists. An assassin from the line, especially in the closing minutes, and hit a few clutch threes for the Johnnies. I think it'd be a nice show of good faith to make Hardy the stud of the game.

... well considering our banner.

brewcity77

Why on earth is Jae still up there? It should either be no stud or Hardy.

BrewCity83

Jae is the Stud of the last win.  He may be up there until November.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

The banner is pathetic. It makes us look like pouty little losers that want to take out their aggression by getting a rise out of others. It's clearly an overreaction to a loss that we're going to regret down the road. Take it down.

Umm...did Johnny Jungle welch on his end of the banner bet last year?

was there a bet?

Yep.  And last year JohnnyJungle was Marquette branded for a week after we beat them.

Windyplayer

Got it. I do recall a bet now that I think about it, but I didn't think the administrator for SJU's site actually followed through with it. I wish I took a look, it would have made their logos splashed all over our site easier to bear.

They followed through.

their banner is a lot cooler than MUs, maybe we should just leave it up.

Or are we gonna change it to a Seton hall banner after saturday?

Do you want Milwaukee's skyline on a banner?

Didn't think so.

Luckily I took a screen-shot of their site last year...see here...

Ah, I feel much better. Thanks.

I'd definitely go with Hardy.  MU could handle Kemba Walker, but Hardy just killed us.  AND he didn't foul out.

Hummm, as I look farther down the list of threads, it becomes obvious that brewcity beat me to this...

Never mind.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
