Nationally ranked 23/24 MU women play Saturday night at 7pm vs. St. Johns (ranked 23 in Coaches Poll)...

and if that isn't enough, it's Dollar night at the Al tomorrow. $1 GA tix, $1 hot dogs, $1 sodas

Awesome game. Tatiyiana McMorris hit a three from damn near NBA range with about 4 seconds left to give MU a 3 point win.

Say what you will about WBB, but this team is a lot of fun to watch. Great atmosphere at the Al tonight.

You heard it here first. Davante Gardner will be a Beast this year.

Tatiyiana has been so clutch this season and everyone including St. John's had to know she was going to get the last shot too.  She also hit a banked in three as regulation ended last Saturday at Pittsburgh to send the game to overtime and then they won in OT.

And yes it was a great atmosphere - their second largest crowd of the season (the only larger crowd was a weekday game with MPS students in attendance).

They are 19-4 overall and 7-3 in BE play.  2 home games left - vs. Rutgers at 2p Sat Feb 19th and vs. DePaul (ranked in the top 10 in one poll now) for senior night at 7p Sat Feb 26th.

Go Marquette!

I wish I had thought of it, Forever..., instead I was at the bucks/pistons game, and watched Northwestern hold on to beat Illinois by 1 after having a 13 point lead with 10 minutes left this afternoon.  Carmody and Buzz have that in common- and Carmody let Illini go on a 12-0 run before calling a timeout.  Yeow!

Did Carmody lead the Northwestern faithful in an emotional victoy rally in the arena concourse?

Congrats to the ladies. Met Coach Mitchell doing some recruiting Friday night. Very pleasant. Good to see she's working the Chicago area. Lots of talent here peaking next year.
