This game against Connecticut is further proof of the price Marquette pays for not having a big man who brings skills and smarts to the court.

Please, we need a strong big man -- a center -- who will make this team the force that it can be.

And we have since Amal graduated.   Or RJaX.

I get that.   Throw in some Jesus and bad jokes...

ATL MU Warrior

please post this wonderful insight during every game.  It will most likely help the program land a strong, skilled big man.

You're right.  And we get the point.  Can't exactly bring one in in the middle of the year.

It seems that chapman and others here are starting to grasp my point.

Marquette is in dire need of a skilled big man or two. A big player or big players who truly bring skills, tenacity and intimidation to the court.

The absence of such a player or such players is our only issue. This is serious.

I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."

Its a shame that our coaches for the last decade haven't seen this and put any effort in that direction.   Merritt, RJax, Grimm, Ous, Kinsella,  Amorosa, Burke, Roseboro, McMorrow, Mbao, Otule, Gardner.    Otule and DG will continue to get better.   But it isn't like the coaches haven't tried.

We DO need another switchable - one that can switch between center and point guard maybe?

We had that guy--Maymon--but he only wanted PG so has moved on to Tn.
