lose 2 games and only drop 5 spots?   Must be correct, since 2 teams did that this week. Purdue and Notre Dame.

Or Louisville moving up 2 spots after this past week?

Edit to add: we are getting votes in the AP poll

And Georgetown still being ranked boggles me as well. 2-4 in the Big East with wins over DePaul and Rutgers. Must be nice to be able to be ranked when you aren't any good.

Because human beings don't vote very well.  It's pretty simple.  They often don't watch west coast games, they often don't watch the games at all because of the volume, etc, etc.

I for one am glad that ND is still #16.  It gives us another chance to knock off a top-20 team on Saturday.

Check out Gary Parrish's Poll Attack for some good insight. He discusses ND a little bit.

All 4 of their loses have been on the road. Who would you have ranked ahead of them?

just off the top of my head, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and MSU.

Notre Dame is simply not playing well right now. Two blow out losses to unranked teams.

Their bench is short so Abro and Hans are playing longer minutes and expected to burden the load.

Did not see GTown ranking, but that must still be the John Thompson mystique.
I thought you were dead. Willie lives rent free in Reekers mind. Rick Pitino: "You can either complain or adapt."
